VMS No-Peel Surface Primer No. 02 Aircraft Light Grey: A high-performance grey primer designed specifically for aircraft models, offering excellent adhesion and durability.
VMS No-Peel Surface Primer No. 02 Aircraft Light Grey combines the best aspects of solvent-based and water-based primers, providing superb adhesion and durability while being easy to apply. This odorless primer adheres strongly to a variety of surfaces without peeling, unlike typical acrylic and acrylic polyurethane primers. It's ideal for priming aircraft models and other surfaces, including plastic, metal, resin, and 3D-printed parts, enhancing the adhesion of your paints for a longer-lasting finish.
This primer is thinned for airbrushing and offers smooth, even coverage with the added benefit of preserving fine details, thanks to the small particle size binder.
With no harsh solvents, VMS No-Peel Primer is safe for use on delicate materials like styrofoam, and it won’t release harmful fumes into your workspace. Cleaning is simple—just use tap water, which conserves airbrush cleaner.

The VMS guys put out information about this primer and how well it sticks to kit plastic. I have been using it on several kits and also tested it myself against another well known brand. Sure enough, after it is dry, this primer is harder scratch off or remove than other brand of primer. Add some retarder to reduce tip dry in your airbrush and to make cleaning easier. Easy to shake "back to life" after it has been sitting for months. I also like the bottle, how it dispenses, and the mixing ball inside.
