This pigment can be applied as a wash using Alkyd or ENML 2.0 binders, or simply dusted onto the tracks for a more subtle effect. Use a heavier amount to simulate a vehicle that has been out of use for several weeks or months, and a lighter application for vehicles in active service, especially in harsh weather conditions.

Best applied on dark steel acrylic bases, this pigment allows you to accurately represent the wear and tear of tracks, depending on the vehicle's usage. As a general rule, the more frequently a vehicle is used, the more bare steel will be visible, with less rust accumulation.
