Liang Model - Miter Cutter

After using several other, less well built and flimsy cutters, with mild success, I was very excited to get this one and see how it worked. It is WAY more robust and has several elements that appear to help the blade stay true and plumb when cutting parts. The pivot point is very sturdy and strong, and the guide that engages the cutting surface helps it stay perpendicular to the fence. They both work great to get a straight cut. My only complaint is that despite these features, the blade still has a tendency to curve/drift, so cutting 3/32" round tubing, the cut is not totally vertical, but leans, which is a disappointment, but making small cuts and rotating the piece gives the results I am after.
