The He 111Z was a successful joining of two He 111 medium bombers and a Messerschmitt Me 321 cargo glider. The design included five powerplants, a seven-man crew, and various armament options. The Zwilling could use rockets for additional thrust and had the capability to ferry injured soldiers and supply gliders. Though many were planned, only one variant of the He 111Z was produced.
