The FCM 36 or Char léger Modèle 1936 FCM was a light infantry tank built for the French Army before WWII. It had a two-person crew and was armed with a short 37 mm main gun and a 7.5 mm coaxial machine gun. A diesel engine provided power. Around 100 tanks were delivered from 1938-1939 and saw action in the French-German battles of May-June 1940.
