The Panzer IV J was a highly utilized medium tank during World War II, originally developed in response to a competition in 1934. With constant upgrades and improvements, it became one of the most versatile tanks in production. It featured a single Maybach HL 120 TRM engine with 300 HP, as well as a 75mm short-barreled gun and 2 7.92mm MG 34 machine guns. It also served as a base for other vehicles such as the StuG IV, Nashorn, and Wirbelwind. During its long production period from 1938-1945, approximately 8,600 Panzer IV tanks were created.
