The Breuer IV was a light railway shunting locomotive created by German company H. Breuer & Co in 1913. It was redesigned in the 1920s and approximately 120 were produced in Germany until 1943. Other countries, such as Italy, Austria, Finland, Denmark, and Czechoslovakia, also manufactured this model under license. Throughout its production and use, the Breuer IV underwent multiple updates and modifications, leading to the development of the model V. These variations can be seen in examples preserved in museums and reference photos. This 1/35 scale kit contains optional parts to recreate the different versions of the Breuer IV, including one that remained in use until the 1980s. The kit also includes a 19 cm-long section of railway track and a figure of a Reichsbahn worker.
The main features of the kit:
- Over 150 plastic parts for the shunter and a section of railway track.
- Optional parts for different variants.
- 1 railroad worker figure.
- 2 painting/marking options.
