1/35 SdKfz 251/1 Halftrack

The German Army created an armoured personnel carrier in 1938 based on the 3-ton half track. Hanomag Hannoversch Machinenbau was responsible for the running gear and Bussing-NAG for the armoured superstructure. The prototype was quickly developed and tested by the Germans at the Kumahsdorf Proving Ground before being mass produced as the Armoured Personnel Carrier Hanomag Sdkfz 251/1, which became associated with the highly active mechanized corps during the war.
