1/25 1988 Ford Mustang GT Car

The '79-'93 Mustang was built on Ford's Fox platform and underwent updates for the '87 model year. It was originally thought to be replaced by a front-wheel drive model but stayed as a rear-wheel drive at the request of consumers. This generation is divided into two segments: the '79-'86 with quad headlights and the '87-'93 with aerodynamic composite headlamps. Production ended in 1994 with the introduction of the fourth-generation Mustang.
